I bumped and chipped the crystal. Is it possible
mcdevito75 here, That may depend on the watch and the maker of your watch, as sometimes a new crystal is only available thru the watch manufacturer, if so, the watch manufacturer may want to install the new crystal themselves. If your crystal is made by an after market company then yes you could get a new crystal sent to you. Look for a small watch repair shop in your area to find out for sure.
Changing battery
Drill a shallow hole where the tiny lip is on the outer perimeter of the back then take the drill bit out of the drill and stick it into the shallow hole you drilled and pry the back up with it. It's not a screw on back, it just pops off but you cant fit anything under the tiny lip to pry it off unless you drill a shallow hole. I did and I got mine off easy.
Brake light switch not meeting brake pedal
The brake light switch should be adjustable in as much as you can screw the switch holder around until it is the required distance from the brake pedal - the switch holder should have a locking nut, which requires undoing first then locking back once you have obtained satisfactory adjustment, thats assuming that the switch itself isn't broken or faulty.
