On the rear of the Display Panel there is a Capacitor and that capacitor regulates the voltage to the LCD Screen. When they fail completely that screen is dark. Prior to that time the display gets dimmer as time goes on. The problem will be getting to it. The other possibility is that the main control board has failed and is not supplying power to it.
No one has attempted and recorded the fix. A local appliance service centre might take a look at it for you.

It appears to be an unknown model. If it is a standard plug in kettle, you can get leads on Amazon or in Walmart / Home Depot.
It is the type where the kettle sits in a base and lifts off that base it is just a straight rewiring job.

Nothing available. You would have to contact them direct. They don't actually make them, another company in China does and they just put the Crocker badge on it.
