Built-in electric oven jtp15w2ww gets to temperature then quits. No error codes.
If your built-in electric oven is getting to temperature and then quitting during a bake cycle, and the upper heating element is not working during the bake cycle but works on the broil setting, it is possible that the problem is with the bake element. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can take:
- Check the bake element: The bake element is the heating element located at the bottom of the oven. To check if the bake element is working properly, turn on the oven and set it to bake mode. Open the oven door and look at the bake element. It should be glowing red. If it is not, then the bake element is likely faulty and needs to be replaced.
- Check the oven temperature sensor: The oven temperature sensor is a small probe that is located inside the oven. Its job is to monitor the temperature inside the oven and communicate that information to the oven's control board. If the sensor is faulty, it may cause the oven to shut off prematurely. You can test the sensor with a multimeter to see if it is working properly. If it is not, then it needs to be replaced.
- Check the oven control board: If both the bake element and the oven temperature sensor are working properly, then the problem may be with the oven's control board. The control board is responsible for controlling the oven's heating elements and other functions. If it is faulty, it may be shutting off the oven prematurely. In this case, the control board will need to be replaced.
It is recommended to hire a qualified technician to perform these tests and replace any faulty parts to avoid any risks of electrical shock or damage to the oven.

I have a double oven Roper. The clock is making an unusual noise. How do I stop it?
If the clock in your Roper double oven is making an unusual noise, it's possible that the clock motor is failing or has become jammed. Here are some steps you can take to try to stop the noise:
- Turn off power to the oven. This will prevent any damage to the clock or other parts of the oven.
- Remove the back panel of the oven to access the clock motor. The clock motor is usually located behind the clock face.
- Inspect the clock motor for any signs of damage, such as burnt wires or a broken gear. If you see any damage, you may need to replace the clock motor.
- If the motor appears to be in good condition, try lubricating it with a light machine oil. This may help to free up any jams and reduce the noise.
- If the noise continues, you may need to replace the clock motor or the entire clock assembly. Contact a qualified appliance repair technician for assistance with this.
Remember to always follow safety precautions when working on any electrical appliance, including turning off power to the oven before beginning any repairs.

LAM7000 door locks not engaging. Oven won't function
It's possible that the hinges were not reinstalled correctly, causing the door not to align properly and preventing the locks from engaging. You may need to remove the door again and double-check that the hinges are installed correctly and the door is properly aligned.
If the hinges are properly installed and the door is aligned, the problem may be with the door lock mechanism itself. In that case, it may require replacement or repair by a qualified technician.

Hi I have error code E1 on my Cookworks halogen oven, KHC 617D.
Glad to hear that you were able to solve the issue! It is possible that the E1 error code on the Cookworks halogen oven could be related to temperature, either the oven is not reaching the desired temperature or it is overheating. However, without more information it's difficult to say for sure. If the issue persists or you experience any other problems with the oven, you may want to contact the manufacturer or a qualified repair technician for assistance.

Is it easy to replace a broken door spring (right side) on Siemens Innowave Oven HB86E560B
Firstly, I spent some time searching for info. on how to repair a broken door spring in this type of micro-combi oven (Siemens Innowave HB86E560N), eventually gave up and just tried. It turned out to be a piece of cake.
The part you need can be found on the internet, just type in the name and code of your oven and look for a door spring, mine cost 17 euro including packing.
Turn off the electrical supply to your oven (obvious, I know). Open the door and then unscrew the 2 securing brackets holding the oven "built-in". Your oven will slide out, but its quite heavy and will probably need 2 of you (one to make sure your power cable doesn't catch). Now you have to unscrew the casing. Start with the screws in the top section, which will then slide backwards and off. Now unscrew the slide panel were you expect your broken spring is. You shouldn't have to unscrew all the screws, but enough to allow easy access without bending the metal casing out of shape. When you (gently) pull the metal casing aside you will be able to see your problem straight away. Now simply hook your new spring in place (its pretty obvious, otherwise take a look at the spring on the other door). Presto.
To be honest the worst part of the job was getting all the screws to go in straight. I was finished in 30 minutes.... saving (I guess) at least 100 euro.
Good Luck

Issues with both sides of Double Oven
For the smaller side, it sounds like there may be a problem with the heating element or a faulty thermostat. This can cause the oven to overheat and trip the circuit breaker. You may want to have a professional technician inspect and repair the oven.
For the larger side, it could be a problem with the heating element, the thermostat, or the control board. It's possible that the light turning off after a second indicates a fault in the control board. Again, it's best to have a professional technician diagnose and repair the issue to ensure safe and proper operation of the oven.

My defy slimline stove top shows AF30 and won't work. How do I fix it?
The error code AF30 on a Defy slimline stove top typically indicates an issue with the stove's touch controls. Here are a few steps you can take to try and fix it:
- Turn off the stove top at the circuit breaker for a few minutes and then turn it back on. This can sometimes reset the touch controls and clear the error code.
- Check if any of the touch controls are stuck or unresponsive. If this is the case, try gently cleaning the area around the touch controls with a damp cloth.
- If the above steps do not work, you may need to replace the touch controls. This is a more complex repair and may require the assistance of a professional technician.
If the problem persists, it's best to contact a qualified technician to diagnose and fix the issue.

Roper oven model FEP310GW0. Oven will not heat
If your Roper oven is not heating, there are several possible causes. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
- Check the power supply: Make sure the oven is properly plugged in and that the circuit breaker hasn't tripped. If the oven is getting power but still not heating, move on to the next step.
- Check the heating element: The most common cause of an oven not heating is a faulty heating element. You can test the element with a multimeter to see if it's working properly. If the element is faulty, it will need to be replaced.
- Check the temperature sensor: Another possible cause of an oven not heating is a faulty temperature sensor. This sensor regulates the oven temperature, so if it's not working properly, the oven won't heat up. You can test the sensor with a multimeter to see if it's working properly. If the sensor is faulty, it will need to be replaced.
- Check the oven control board: The oven control board regulates the oven temperature and controls the heating elements. If the control board is faulty, the oven won't heat up. You can test the control board with a multimeter to see if it's working properly. If the control board is faulty, it will need to be replaced.
- Check the oven thermostat: The oven thermostat regulates the temperature in the oven. If it's not working properly, the oven won't heat up. You can test the thermostat with a multimeter to see if it's working properly. If the thermostat is faulty, it will need to be replaced.
If you're not comfortable troubleshooting the issue yourself, it's best to call a professional appliance repair technician to diagnose and fix the problem.

How to reset Sauter oven SFE950XI
- First, disconnect the oven from the power supply by unplugging it or turning off the circuit breaker that powers it.
- I believe to reset the Sauter oven SFE950XI after a power cut when you see 3 flashing LEDs (Auto grill light, cooking time light, + light) you will use the following steps below:
- Wait for at least 15 minutes to allow the oven to cool down, and to ensure that any electronic components have completely discharged.
- Reconnect the oven to the power supply and turn it on.
- Immediately press and hold the "-" (minus) button until you hear a beep.
- Release the "-" button and then quickly press the "+" (plus) button.
- Use the "-" button to select the hours, and then press the "+" button to confirm your selection.
- Use the "-" button to select the minutes, and then press the "+" button to confirm your selection.
- The display should now show "d:00" (with the "d" standing for duration), which means the oven has been successfully reset.
If this process does not work, it may be necessary to refer to the user manual or contact a professional technician for further assistance.
Let me know if it works for you thank you.
