I need to change the sponge filter but cannot seem to buy one

go to the place u bought the unit. if that does not exist, then git 2 homie depot,lowes, or sears,who ever. and take u r filter with you. there r replacement filters, or alternatives. lol.

Although elements look in one piece they can go 2 ways, short circuit (visible normally by a bulge or tear) or the resistance gets way too high, They should normally be around 30 ohms resistance reading. Use a multimeter and check the ohm's reading of the element

Tripping fuse box

There is an earth fault. check that the oven is wired correctly at both the oven side and the outlet it is wired into. Failing that check that oven control switch is wired correctly.
