Hi there, it was a bit hard to trace which jumpers were made in 2015, but I''m hoping I found the right one. Here's the link for the instruction manual:
https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/91iG8NVQ0-S.pdf
and these are the instructions for how and where to replace the batteries.
Hope this helps!
Here is a photo. I drew an arrow where there should be a pull tab. You need to pull that out to get it out of demo mode. If it is already pulled out and still in demo mode I would return it as there is probably a piece of plastic still stuck in there. I have also attached a video of a review of the toy which people say it's a wonderful toy.
I have one similar, and the batteries go under the little keyboard looking thing on the left side. The part with the blue, green, and yellow with three pink things on top? That should pop out (with a little difficulty), and then have screws under it. That's where the batteries go on mine.
