I own a pair of B&W dm605's and I am getting
I use sightly different nomenclature than you do, as I am an old audiophile However, if you have switched the dm605 that has the problem to the inputs to the dm605 that was OK and that unit stil has distortion, the problem is with the dm605 with the distortion. If the dm605 uses passive crossover network (inductor and capacitor), I doubt that is is the problem. That leaves the amplifier internal to the dm605 or or the speakers themselves. One or more of the speakers could have a tear in the speaker cone or physical interference between the magnet and coil..Interference can be caused by dirt or misalignment.
Dm605 s2 speakers have static noise
If the noise you hear comes from the tweeter or the midrange speakers, it means your amplifier is noisy; if the noise comes from the woofer, then the internal amplifier (it has its own) of the speaker is noisy. If both speakers are noisy, it is most probable that the "static noise" you hear comes from the external amplifier, which you will have to check or change.
Repair
If there are no screws, you have an enclosure that is glued. In that case I would use a table saw to cut all four sides as close to the backs inside edge as you can. When you need to put it back together use a drill and make pilot holes and then use long thin wood screws. If the case is plastic, measure it and get wood for new ones.
Two questions:
1) I have a
These are very good speakers with three speakers in the enclosure.
1. Check to see if the wires broke on the tweeter that fell out. A friend with a screwdriver can remove the bigger speaker to inspect the damage. I think the tweeter is probably OK.
2. It is possible to swap tweeters with your other unit to ensure it is the tweeter and not the wiring or crossover. There is a small electronic unit in the cabinet that serves all three speakers.
3. You most certainly replace this tweeter to get the speaker system back to specifications.
I am unsure about the HF or LF connections. If you have an instruction manual, it would be in there. HF is probably High Frequency; LF is probably Low Frequency. Whoever sells the tweeter will know the answer to that question. Lacking any other information, I would connect to the other set & see if I could hear a difference in low frequency response.

My ipod touch will not
happened on mine, just try cleaning out the dock on the speaker and in your ipod and move the plug socket, hope this helps :)
I have a canon iP1900 when i print anything it
There is ink absorbers located at both ends of the printerwhere the ink head move.
To dry the ink absorber, power up the printer and open the cover so the inkcartridges and print head will move to the middle of the printer.
Then take several sheets of absorbent tissue, fold it into a pad and place it insidethe printer over the ink absorber on the far left hand side of the printer tosoak up the excess ink. You may need to change the absorbent tissue a fewtimes. Then repeat the same procedure on the right hand ink absorber.
Closethe lid and the printer should now function normally.
I'm not getting any sound
Hi There,
Have you tried changing the cables connecting the device to the player. It could just be a bad cable but the player and the speaker system are ok.
You can try playing your ipod on a different speaker system using the same cable to check that.
If it plays music it means that the cable is ok if not then the problem is with the speaker system itself.
If it has lights on then that means it is receiving power so there is no problem with the supply.
Is there another audio port you can plug the player in? Try a different port if its available.
If not try to insert the jack into the port slowly to make sure that it's not grounded.
If that does not work, we are going to have to open the device and check the connections inside. We would have to check the port the capacitors and the connections going to the speakers.
You would have to use a power tester to check the continuity on the components to see which one is defective and a soldering gun would come handy so you can solder the parts that are loose and if a capacitor or an IC needs to be replaced.
If you are not comfortable doing all that you can try a local electrician to check the unit for you.
Hope this helps!
HI, I am a television
Welcome to Fixya
Please se procedure below:
A. Underneath the end of the speaker covers are little tags, they have to be pushed in to slid the covers off to the out side. You will then see the speakers (5)
B. 8 phiilips screw hold the back to the front, but if you then try to open it there are connections underneath that you need to check.
