Not enough information to give you any kind of helpful answer. Problems such as yours are difficult to diagnose with the automobile sitting in front of me much less with the tiny amount of information you've provided. That said, my best advice would be for you to find a local mechanic and pay him to look at your car.

Nope, there is no work around to get a full screen view with your unit. Unless of course you want to convert your media to the correct aspect ratio with the aid of a PC or Mac with the proper software. The Wondershare media converter software has a free limited edition. It works OK but is slow and lacks many of the "bells and whistles of the paid software.

Best bet would be to go to the VOX customer support page and go from there. Electrical problems are difficult at best with the car in front of the poor guy trying to diagnose. Trying to fix a problem with an aftermarket remote start via a web page is insanity. How do I deactivate my aps57c mobile audiovox alarm
- Locate the push-button LED switch on the alarm box under the driver's side dash. The small red or black button is used to manually disable the alarm.
- Put the key in the ignition and turn it to the "on" position. This activates your vehicle's battery, but doesn't start the engine. Press and hold the push-button LED until the LED light stops blinking. Once the LED stops blinking the alarm is disabled until you manually reset the alarm.
- Start the car. Then, press and release the push-button LED switch once, to reset the alarm.

Look for some sort of toggle switch associated with the alarm system. (something small similar to this [http://www.mouser.com/images/ckcomponents/lrg/7000_toggle_series_new_SPL.jpg]) They call this a valet switch and it's located somewhere hidden and out of the way - usually under the dash - but still in an accessible spot. This basically disables the alarm. Typically, you'd turn the key on (but engine off) then flip the switch. This will put the car into valet mode and basically disable it. There is also usually some sort of LED light associated with the system - again typically blinking when the system is armed - but it will be solid once in valet mode. The clicking you are hearing is the relay that is triggering things. I'm assuming someone got tired of the alarm sounding and got rid of the siren it or clipped the wires to it - hence why your only hearing the clicking and seeing the light flash.
