I, too am a model train enthusiast, and I only get my supplies from one place.

Neither one costs more than 17.29, so the cost is really good.

About 15-20 percent below normal retail costs, but that is because they are for the hobbyist customer.

I believe that one of those motors is an exact replacement, the E-R model motor.

The Kato brand is more of a generic replacement for all HO scale engines, but select whichever one you want to get.

If that is powered by a battery this might have enough power to run the engine.It can power its light because it would only require minimal amount of power whence for the engine to start requires much power.So if you could check if the one supplying the engine is a rechargeable battery that needs to be replaced or either needs to be recharged.Thank you for choosing FIXYA.
