Before you panic see if there is some hidden reset code from the manufacturer. If not, then you get concerned. Check to see if you are using the right protocol to get it out of the hibernate mode.

Remove battery turn the notebook on, does it works? press the battery back in place, is there any lock on backside op the notebook? is there any signs of charging? flashing led or so? if not the internal plug to the power supply could be damaged.

it has to be soldered. find a pc solder shop, this part attaches to where the ac adapter plugs in, it is blown, it services battery and wall power to the system on and system from these two sources. sometimes, there is a pices that bolts out and has a wire plug. it's not usually very expensive or difficult to fix. :)

Sounds like the cable between the screen panel and the motherboard has become faulty and will need repairing. To confirm if there is a problem with the screen, if the laptop has an HDMI/VGA/Displayport, plug it in to a TV or monitor and booting it up. If it shows up normally, then I'd recommend contacting the manufacture.

It should be located on the left or right side of your laptop. If it is not present on those locations it is possible that your laptop does not have a dvd drive. You can of course still enjoy dvd's by buying an external dvd player if you need this.

The battery may have gone bad. Amazon is one of the cheapest places to look for a replacement.

if uve not got a sound button on front or side of laptop. or uve turned it up, ur sound code drive needs re-installing. go to start > control panel .> device manager > click on plus signs so they expand and keep going down till u reach sound card. right click on it and go to uninstall. once u switch your laptop off (hard reboot) and back on again your op sys should find it and re-install driver with a usable irq..

You could connect the two devices by a network cable (Cat 6 RJ45) and use file sharing, but I prefer to use a USB-to-USB transfer cable, like the one attached. It is USB 3.0 compatible but is still very fast at USB 2.0 speeds. Michael@fixya

I believe that on the very top row of keys, the function keys, the third from the left, F2, is the wireless on/off button. Mine occasionally gets turned off by accident. Try tapping this button. It may take a few seconds for it to come up.
