Do you own the video clip you wish to save? If copied from another source, it is probably copy coded.

Check the format is not as a DVD would be ... very large. Save it as am MP4 and try again.

2. Type ipconfig/flushdns and press Enter.

Open command prompt with admin privileges, right click command prompt choose open as admin

You need to switch off Directdraw in Direct X settings. I had the same issue and this resolved it. If you google it, it should come up with a page to download a zip file for your version of Windows. When you have downloaded it, follow the instructions given on the download page to switch Directdraw off. That should sort it.

Try this: It might be that the ArcSoft software has an auto update feature (and it is maybe trying to go/update while you are burning). With the ArcSoft thing open, see if there is an Option or Tools choice. Then, maybe in the settings somewhere, you can shut the auto update thing off if there is one. You could also maybe try burning when not connected to the internet. Good luck.

You have not said what you are using to edit the file, a mac, a phone, a windows machine and which version of the software you are using. All computer have a search function, usually located someone on the top of the version of file explorer, or finder if you have a mac. Just type the file name into the search box and it will search your disk for it.

First have you tried to see them in another program without doing anything to them first ? And it could be possible that you are missing a driver or something in the program was corrupted I would make a back up of the pictures and then re install the program and look on the web site for updated drivers. Or go to the company web site and check for any updates to your program.

Try running the program in compatibility mode for an older version of windows such as vista or xp. If it still causes the usb problems it may have to do with outdated usb drivers. Try running the program in safe mode and see if that works. If it will only work in safe mode and your usb drivers cant be changed, then you should just buy a new webcam for install a generic webcam driver for it.

You do know don't you that in Win 7 there is a resident slide show facility, so if you transfer the files to say, my pictures of videos, you can use them as a slideshow within the system.

Are you using the laptop screen or using a larger monitor or projecting the slide show? The screen resolution on the Sony may need to be adjusted.
