My American Standard # 3378513.020 does not flush. It seems to not have the pressure. It takes about 3 times to get it to flush which defeats the purpose. How do I fix this?

First, make sure the water feed to the tank is wide open, then make sure you have the inner workings set at maximum water level.

Slow leak from tank into bowl. We can hear tank

I'm contractor for the last 17 years and this is the first time I have problems with the toilet tank installation , I bought four toilets, three of them had a leaking tank I thought that the place that had bolt did not have enough pressure and I put more pressure every five minutes but the toilets kept on leaking, I took the bolts out and I put plumbing putty in the top and the bottom and installed it again but it kept on leaking then i removed the putty and i put liquid teflon on the bolts and finally the leaking stoped. Were is the flame detector located on a american standard hot water tank.

Hey. Not sure what model you have, but I assume you're trying to light the pilot. Remove the metal outer and inner (if applicable) cover(s) located at the bottom below the control box. with a flashlight, you should be able to locate the "thermocoupler" -that's a very thin metal tube about the thickness of cooked spaghetti. It should come from the controller and bend around a little until it ends in mid-air. That's where the pilot flame will first appear when you light it, and it should be always on, or else you will need to follow the instructions on the outside of the heater to do so. BTW: while the pilot should always be lit, the main flame (which heats the water) will only "fire" like a gas cooking range when the water in the tank starts to get cold - so don't expect to see any big flames any time you look. When you re-light the pilot, though, and turn the control dial to "hot", then you will both see and hear the flame fire up. Follow those lighting instructions VERY carefully, or the pilot won't stay lit (like, if it says to hold a button for 60 seconds, make sure you don't cheat). Good luck, hope I answered your question.

Wobbly sink

you payed someone to do a simple job, which they've not done to a satisfactory standard. you could either get them back to finish it properly or use some bricks to "stabilize the sink"... i know what i'd rather do.

American standard cadet 3 leaking around seal

get a new filler assembly. the water in the tank is heavy enough to close the seal completely. or the rubber seal is not making contact. thats' why the leak.
change the whole assemble ususally correct the problem.
adjuste the flow to about 1/4 to 1/3 under the over flow. if that still don't give you the pressure. you ca adjust the flow tube to 1/5 under the cover. that is the max.
