You should not need drivers for a Kindle- it looks like a mass storage device to a PC. It should be recognised as soon as you attach it.

Did you report it lost/stolen? If it's already active it may still be registered. Log on to Amazon.com, click help under the address bar. Click device support, You should see a list of your devices. In left column you'll see Contact Us. Click and fill in info and they will call or email you back with help.

1. Go to Manage Your Content and Devices.
2. From Your Content, change the Show drop-down menu to the appropriate category, if needed.
3. Select the title(s) that you want to delete, and then select Delete.
4. To confirm, select Yes, delete permanently.

You can charge it from a USB port if you need to. the cable you need is a USB to Micro USB cable.You may have one laying around, or the your wall charger for your Kindle may have a removable USB cable that you could plug into a laptop for example.Otherwise you can always get a new wall powered charger from ebay

Sounds like a hardware issue. I would contact Amazon or wherever you got it from. They might give you a new one if you bout it relatively recently. You can also replace the batteries, Amazon sells them for all models.

Although everything else works, it may be that the router isn't communicating properly with the Kindle. Switch the router off for 30 seconds then switch it back on. This should get it to restart comms with all devices and assign IP addresses.

If you own amazon account and have it connected to your device, you also get an e-mail adress in format "[email protected]". In the settings of your account you can set your usual adress to be able to send files to your kindle e-mail. After you have your adress in the whitelist, you can send any file from your e-mail to your amazon e-mail, and it will automaticly be downloaded into your Kindle. Note please, that pdf file is imported like images, so you only will be able to zoom, but the size of the page will remain constant.
