don't know - some have a small opening you can adjust to balance the air between the top and bottom compartments - usually inside bottom, at back, just under freezer.

Hi, If I remember correctly, make sure the freezer control is set to on, otherwise neither will cool.
You need to give it 24hr for temp to settle, then check to see if freezer temperature is 0? to 2? F (-17? to -16? C).
Turn control to next highest number if too warm.
Turn control to next lowest number if too cold.
Allow 5 to 8 hours for adjustments to take effect.
Check to see that fresh food section is 38? to 40? F (3? to 4? C).
Turn control to next highest number if too warm.
Turn control to next lowest number if too cold

Hope this helps
David

Heat guns are typically a bad idea as most people will hold it in one place too long melting,or disfiguring the plastic on the icemaker or worse, the cabinet.

Removing and using hot water is always the best way!

The usual problem for small, or hollow ice cubes is a bad saddle valve. There really isn't a good saddle valve in my opinion as they always clog either from mineral or rusting from the inside out.

What you want to do is find your shutoff valve. Sometimes in the basement, or under a sink if it is close by the refrigerator and look to see how it is hooked up. If it has a valve like the attached pic then it would be best to call in a plumber and have him replace it with a toilet style ball valve which will never restrict water flow and will always work!

The two main types of saddle valves are self pierce (absolute garbage) and drill type. If you look at where the valve straps to the pipe it will either have a round or square gasket. The square gasket ones are the worst and 99.5% of the time are the problem.

Sounds like the washers clutch is out, the repair of this type is more than any machines value.
You can call a repair shop if still under warantee but if not just buy a new or used one, the repair will be out of balance & at best will last 18-22 months, but will cost as much if not more than a new value priced machine. :-) good luck.

Is the display flashing when you try and use it or can you hear the dispenser door opening and closing rapidly (clicking or clapping sound)? These are prone to the board going bad and losing the dispenser. Is the "ice" light lit on the dispenser? The touch pad could be bad too. Do you hear the auger motor turning the ice when you press the dispenser? or just the "shhhhhhh" of the water coming out?

If there is ice in the bucket then that is not the problem. Dump it and listen if you hear new ice drop to verify.

There is no such part called an "ice element". Ice maker-yes.. Heating element-yes.. Ice dispenser-yes

There are only three components associated with the F3 error and that is your oven sensor, associated wiring, and ERC. After replacing your oven sensor and checking the wiring, then by order of deduction your ERC is the problem. You may have to search for a used one online or at used appliance stores or send it in to be rebuilt by Corecentrics or Fixyourboard.com. You always have the option to buy another range.
