Constant clicking sound everything is working

Shut off the power to the range. It sounds like the igniters got wet. If the clicking sound is still there after you put the power back on, light all the burners to dry out the igniters.

Oven heats up very slowly and does not reach the set temp

There is an oven temp gauge you can get to check the temp, When you have that you can remove the dial from the oven and if you look at the back you should see either one or two small screws. If you loosen them you can reajust the setting. Also if it (The oven) seems to heat up to slow It could be the heat sensor, That is in the oven and looks like a long rod. You can investagte changing that out but that is a bit more work.

Getting error code on amana oven 5A6 or 5Ab what

Your display is actually reading "SAB". This is an indication of a mode of operation rather than an error code. The following link explains:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r3608491-sabb_or_sab_explanation_kitchen_ranges

Sabbath Mode is a feature that allows the consumer to disable certain features of the range in order to honor the sabbath. Usually this disables the oven, but allows the consumer to still use the surface burners. You cannot defeat it by unplugging the range or turning off the breaker either. You will either have to wait 72 hours for the mode to clear, or figure out how to turn it off.

Somewhere in the owner/operator's manual is a section that refers to "Sabbath Mode". Since all ranges differ in features and operator, you need to refer to the operation section of your owner's manual to find out how to shut the feature off.

If the model number you listed this question under is correct, you need to press and hold the CLOCK button for 3 seconds to clear the Sabbath Mode. "Sab" will flash for about 5 seconds, then return to normal display.

If you can't find this information, or no longer have an owner's manual, please post back and let me know. Please include your MODEL NUMBER ( if different from the one you posted this question under) when posting questions, so that we may be able to provide yo with better service. I hope this helps you.

Gas range oven door with not open

Your self cleaning cycle is running. When self cleaning is running the door is automatically locked and will not unlock until the self cleaning cycle completes or self cleaning is turned off. You should be able to just turn off the self cleaning cycle and the door will unlock. Do not try to pry open the oven door. You will just damage the door and/or the catch.

The oven will not light. The broiler and stove top will, Just not the oven.

Easy to test: 1) pull the bottom drawer out. 2) use a power tester you can purchase at your local hardware store, it doesn't measure voltage but if you hold it to a wall outlet, power cord for exams it will light up and beep. 3) turn your oven on bake and hold the tested close to the igniter, if you have voltage then it's your igniter (only replace with OEM parts). If you don't have power to you igniter then you'll need a meter to check voltage further. Good luck
