Dishwasher only cold water
Is this a new dishwasher? Many only have a cold water connection.
If not new, and it has used hot water previously, it is likely that the solenoid inlet valve on the hot side has failed closed. It will need a service call.

No ice just replaced the ice maker itself
did you check to make sure there is water going to the fridge? It's possible the waterline may be clogged at the saddle valve. does the ice maker cycle? make sure the plug is in correctly and all the way.
NOT DRYING WELL
Add more rinse aid and check the heater is working. The dishwasher uses steam to dry the dishes.

Salt light stays on
There is probubally an sensor in the machine that senses salt levels, it is not uncommon for and sensor to be faulty out of the box, I would contact the manufacturers on their 1-800 number nd consult with them and if be order the replacement part from them directly.
Hope this helps
