its a hardware issue on some wireless routers on the board. you can try resetting the unit doing a 30/30/30 power boot to see if it fixes the problem. hold reset button for 30 secs, remove power from router while still holding reset button for another 30 secs. attach power to unit while still holding reset button for another 30 secs.

you need to set up wifi security, which has its own password that you provide. Its easy to do if you have basic IT skills, and will be in your documentation. If you arent familiar the support desk of the modem supplier may help

There is NO way of resetiing the device. You need to get hold of the factory reset device program from alvarion. This allows you to connect to the device and run a small program into which you enter the MAC address of the unit. The software then sets the unit back to factory defaults. You will need to run this program by connecting a cat 5 cable to each of the units you wish to reset and entering the MAC address listed on the device.Cheers - Chris (Ex trainer of Alvarion Installation engineers)

sorry mate trying to make heads or tails of what you have written, to get the IP address of the device you need to do this. connect to the device, then click start button, then click run, type CMD and press enter a black screen appears ie dos prompt. type IPCONFIG /ALL then press enter you will get the IP Adress of the device. dont matter if you connect wirelessly or through cable you will get the ipadress.. You can reset your router. To do this you would need a paper clip to push the reset button at the back of the router.
