Does it do call masking
Yes, press the feature button and then enter 889. This will restrict the NBX system from sending out your Caller ID information for all calls. You will have to disable this by doing the same thing if you want to get your outbound caller ID back. Feature 890 will restrict the NBX system from sending out your Caller ID information for this call only.
How do you set a 3Com v3000 R6_0_63 to block
That needs to be done at the carrier level (AT&T, Verizon etc...). With a PRI you can do a little bit of routing the numbers you want to block to an bad destination but it isn't easy for most people to do as you need to be comfortable with the dial plan.
How do I use the intercom
The "hands free" button would need to be pushed on the phone you are calling. This will make the phone answer when an internal call comes in to that extension. Outside calls will still act normally and ring the phone, then go to voicemail. the downside is that it is difficult for fellow employees to leave you a voicemail since your phone answers to intercom on all internal calls when "hands free" is pressed. If all you are talking about is paging through the phones, pressing 621 will page through the phones with a 3 digit dial plan and 6201 on a 4 digit dial plan.
I am getting the following
You need to go to the Telephone group button mappings and click on the lock next to the buttons you want to change. Once you unlock it for the group that the phone is in, you will be able to change it for that phone. Keep in mind that this also allows the other users in that telephone group to change their buttons too.
Voicemail in use message
Reboot the phone system (through the browser) and this should take care of it. There are limited voicemail ports and sometimes they get put on hold and can't be released. I have seen it a lot. some versions of software can clear this but a reboot will take care of it.

You can't. The 1100 and 2100 series 3Com phones aren't SIP phones. Only the 3100 series phones can be used.
2102 setup
The phones aren't on the system. You have to make sure to turn on "Auto Discover Telephones" under the system settings, system configuration tab within "tab to it" (on 5.0 and older software) and System wide settings, auto discovery with newer software. If the phones are plugged into the same network as the phone system, the phones will automatically come up with extensions.
Problem!
INternet (DSL) line is down
The problem would be more than just internet in order for the phones not to work. they just need to be plugged in to a switch on the network to be able to communicate with the phone system and the other phones. Probably a switch or the DSL router if it has a built in switch.
Can you hook a radio
Yes, there is a MOH (music on hold) port on the main call processor board. You would use a cable with a 3.5mm plug on it (like for an ipod) to plug it in to the phone system and whatever connector on the other side to plug into the headphones jack on the radio.
3Com 3102 phone dial tone but won't dial out
As long as someone hasn't been poking around in the phone system, this is a phone company issue. I have seen this many times and it has always been a carrier issue. Typically with PRI's or integrated access analog lines.
What's the number for customer service for 3com
3Com was purchased by HP and has discontinued the NBX product line and support. They have also as of September 31, 2013 stopped selling licenses. Some resellers are still able to get them but I'm sure that will stop soon enough. The NBX tech support number I had was for tech support is now a prize hotline number.
How to reset a 3com phone
You'd have to reboot the phone, and press the white dot 'Program'
button within 30 seconds of reboot, then use the arrows to scroll down
through the menus to Advanced settings, and find Eeprom reset to default, and choose that. *Note- This will reset all values of the phone. If it's Ethernet Only, it's
fine. If the phone is using a Static IP, it will also clear the IP
addressing on the phone* If you are talking about resetting the phone from a user profile perspective it is different. You can reset the voicemail password under the system maintinence, password administration and select user password in the drop down box. After the password has been reset (to the extension number) they can log in and change the recordings and password. You will also need to then go to the users tab and change the name.
