at? What CD recorder? What cable? If this is all inside a computer, go to your Sound control device (in your Control Panel) and check the input and output settings including the recording level.volume

...to feedback. There is no gradual volume just quiet then loud. As I turn the front input volume dial I think it should be gradually getting louder but it doesn't. The volume control may be
