1993 chevy lumina-tps where is tps on 1993 chevy lumina "TPS" stands for Throttle Position Sensor.  It is located in the same place that all TPS sensors are located - on the throttle body.

Clean the connectors on the ECM and TPS with contact cleaner. Also check the plunger on the TPS and make sure it moves. Check the engine coolant sensor also.If all checks out you. Could have a bad ECM
