Rough idle Last night I started my 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor (83,000 miles) and the engine would not idle smoothly. It will oscillate from about 300 to 500 rpm before stabilizing @ 500 rpm or stalling.

rough and runs hard through first gear. 30 mph and over runs fine? Is it a valve in the intake? Idling problems may be cause buy a number of issues.  You may check out the fast idle control valve
