...the battery and the alternator and it still does this i was also told by a garage that there is no power getting to the fuel pump fuse and a while back i had to replace the fuel pump about a year

power to the relay input but no output then the relay needs attention. If no input voltage then check the wiring back to the fuse. Now check the coolant sensor if non of the above has shown any fault.
