ohm metter but what settign do i use? and how much should it be, so i know if its bad or good? your pickup coil is most likely bad.there are five wires coming out of the left stator side. three yellow

no spark 12v goning to coil,and 8v on pickup coil Use a test light on negative side of coil. Should pulse while cranking. No pulse. check pickup coil same way. If pickup is good the install a new coil
