overheating gauge reads hot but car does not seem to be getting physically hot only happens after a drive and is at an idle. check the COOLANT sensor , it might be defective , hope this helps , AJ

overheating I replaced water bump (was leaking} but still overheating,this time radiator upper hose is hotter then the lower hose plus water bumping out though the radiator cap with pressure what else
