that problem is when the engine is running in close loop. u should check if the other codes have to do anything with the coolant system. u should fix the other codes first and see if the p0157 go away

loop it between the sides of it....turn the key until the dash lights up....count the blinks...these are your "trouble codes"...a definition of them is available on line...most common is oxygen sensor
