Goes off only at night with NO warning cleaned

...is a lot of DUST in the chamber it reflects the IR light just like smoke, than can generate an alarm, try blowing air in the smoke detector (gentely) if it does not work replace the smoke

It was beeping every 15 seconds or so. I pulled unit off ceiling and checked batteries. Reinstalled. No more beeping. Do I need to replace batteries?
