using windows 7 internet explorer 8 then i upgraded to internet explorer 9 adobe flash player wont install if either ie8 or 9 are open. it will run its installer program once i close internet explorer

...Player 10.1 and you need to use IE 32 bit . You will find it here : Start / All Prgrams / Internet Explorer . Select IE and not IE 64 bit . It will download and install Flash Player on your machine

enable the Flash player if it's disabled. If that does not help, you'll need to go back to Internet Explorer 9. Just Uninstall IE10 but for safety install any other browser
