when you change a timing belt . how many miles. 80 to 100,000 miles depending on local climate ,if hot and dry change sooner if climate is temperate and wet then longer

When is the timing belt suggested to be replaced? in a dry desert climate then around 80,000 is the recomended but in a cooler damper climate then 100,000 is ok with no undue risk
