Why are there lots of black dots on the screen? Those "black dots" are either dirt on the inside of the projector or, more likely, dead pixels on the LCD light valve chip.
cannot be fixed. The lcd would have to be replaced if they are white dots, you probably have a DLP projector. In this case the graphics chip is failing. You will need a new chip and they are not cheap
