crown vic has trouble idleing properly when first started in the morning, either in the winter or the summer. Also if i try to take off real quick after the first start it laggs and runs really rough.

2005 crown vic has high rpm. what could the problem be? Idle control valve,very easy to replace

starts fine in summer/dosent in winter/takes 2-3 cranks before it holds idle . 99 crown vic perhaps you have a sticking IAC valve. Idle Air Control valve. pretty common concern.
