Code 43 is electronic spark control. ESC module is not receiving a knock signal from knock sensor. Check knock sensor/wiring, check ESC (parts store can check for you). That's what the book says to do

Why do esc, traction, and engine lights turn on? Check the engine codes first. Some codes will shut down the ESC and traction. Then Traction codes will shut down ESC. With out codes we just guess.
