...to vehicle speed If your car has a manual gear box thn the clutch plate may need replacing, if need be better to replace the pro-kit i.e clutch pressure plate , clutch plate and the relaese

pedal but it start when you put your foot on the clutch then it is the bearing. I suspect that you will have to pull the gear box and have a clutch kit fitted along with a new clutch throw out bearing

...get stuck It could be a bent shifting fork inside the transmission case. Or it could be a shaft inside case with a slight bend. My guess considering you changed the clutch would be the shifting
