this is not the same as the air intake for your cars engine! The air intake for the cabin filter will be on the passenger side, under the hood, most likely under a plastic cowling of sorts. Good luck

cabin filters were introduced. The front fresh air has been blocked, intentionally, to slow the infiltration. There must be another opening in the system to allow the amount of dust I am experiencing.
