Engine miss when ambient air temp increases not water/engine temp

ambient temp. But I don't know of a why to verify this. Local Chevy dealer found nothing wrong other than a leaking valve cover and dirt anti-freeze which cost $100.00 to tell me. Thanks Chevy dealer.
