There are many variations for a Norlake system
I assume the cooling coil hangs from the ceiling of the cooler and the condensing unit sits on the top?
The temperature is controlled by a control that is located in the condensing unit on the top of the cooler. This can be either;
\ a digital thermostat. You will need the progam key to get in
\mechanical thermostat. Adjust the dial setting
\ pressure stat. Adjust the dial setting
Normally freezers are kept at zero. Most health departments will not allow the temp to be higher than plus 10. If you want to store ice cream, you need to be at minus 10 degrees to minus 15 degrees.
No probably just frozen up due to door being left open turn unit off and check internal unit have a look on the evaporator (internal unit) see if it has a covering of ice if so leave of utill completly frost free and then restart I bet it will work
the refrigerator temperature is determined on the freezer setting if you look at the thermostat for the freezerusually has #1 to 8 or close to it. nextto that is another kbob or lever that sets the air flow from the freezer to the refrigerator . i usually prefer to set both knobs in the middle for example on 1 to 8 set on 5 the other knob will have letters a-b-up to e set that one on 3 which will close the damper to about 50% if you need the freezer colder set the air flow knob to say B that should solve your problem.
They are usually mounted on the front panel of the evaporator or mounted on the wall behind the evaporator.There is a possibility that the temp. control is at the condenser,and the sensing bulb was slipped thru the wall.Look for the bulb at the back of the evaporator and follow the cap tube.
