Check the cable at both ends for a loose connection. Thats all sounds like it came loose. If you have a good connection at both ends than the computer video card is bad, but sounds like a loose connection.
Hi Byteguy, I believe I can help but I need more information, I believe you're looking for the SATA Controller driver, you probably won't find these from Acer. Does your computer have an Intel or ATI chipset? You'll likely find the driver from one of them.
there are 3 or 4 different drivers on the acer website for you system for wireless networking download all of them and try them all one at a time if you do no know which one suites your system. they are labeled as wifi drivers. that would be the easiest route.
