I dont believe the cooling fan is cutting on on my 750 shadow ace, 2004. i see 2 temp sensors. what's most probable to be defective? i'm an HVAC mechanic and i dont understand the 12vdc coming to the sensor on the bottom of the radiator--its only one wire and the voltage would have to go to grnd? how would that work?

My bike would show it was overheating when at idle and I noticed my fan wasn't working. Turned out to be a small rock stuck near the shaft of the fan. I simply removed it and hosed off any remaining dirt. It's worked fine ever since.

2002 honda vt 750 shadow spirit one cylinder won't fire what's the problems

Pull the plug out and test it on the frame. If no spark you need new plugs. If it does spark look at the plug. If the plug is black and wet it is getting to much fuel and flooding. You will need to adjust your carb's air to gas mixture.

Honda motorcycle 2001 vt 750 every time i engage the gear it shuts off?

I know it sounds simple, but do you have the kickstand up? Most bikes have the kickstand sensor so that you dont take off with the stand down. Maybe the sensor needs to be adjusted.

Hope this helps

Performance

1 - There are many possible variables here, such as added accessories, load, road, wind, etc., but the strictly stock bike will probably be the least stressed at 45 to 55 mph in 5th gear, although this engine is so understressed by design, that riding as fast as it will go is not likely to cause any damage.

2 - The ACE 750 has a loyal following of fans, and you can find them on the web by googling "honda 750 ace"; they know what works and what doesn't, and are more than willing to help.

My santa fe has a cooling fan that wont stop runningstays hot but dont over heat

Sounds like a defective coolant temperature sensor. You didn't tell us which engine is in your Santa Fe. 2.4 4cylinder, 2.7 V6? or the 3.5 V6?
Without diagnosing this problem myslef, there are several probable causes (first, coolant temp sensor), next could be wiring, ECM, welded contacts in cooling fan relay, short in relay circuit, etc.
