I have a kenmore electronic control model no 385-15752090 serger and I need a manual

Not sure about your machine but normally there would be a fitting on the "exhaust" side where the hose can be attached or if its an electronic control, it should be on the machine.??

Then click on the Free Download button for your machine. There are two different machines with the 14SH654 model number listed; one is an UltraLock and the other is a Finishing Touch sewing machine.

Sounds like you are trying to thread a serger or overlock. I would be helpful if you offered up the model number. However, a few things I've learned.

Sergers MUST be threaded in ORDER. Failure to do so will break your looper (had it happen)

In other words if you break one of the 4 or 5 threads... you have to un-thread all the other points and begin with Thread 1, then do thread 2, etc., etc.,

If you would give me the Make and model number of your serger... I will be happy to see if I can find your manual and threading guide for you.

Did you ever find the manual online? I just bought an sl 600 too and need one. Also the model should have two needles correct?

I actually have the same model. I have the manual, but it is not very helpful. It does give instructions on treading, but not much else. You can download this manual online and it will cost at least $10.00.

I wasn't able to find the manual for the Kenmore model, however I did find the instruction manual for the corresponding Panasonic canister vacuum cleaner. Your particular Kenmore model is actually made by Panasonic for Sears, and then Sears puts the Kenmore name on the vacuum cleaner. They are identical internally, and have the same parts and components, besides the filter that is behind the bag. Sears makes Panasonic put a specially designed filter in the Kenmore's so that the customer has to go back and purchase that filter from Sears.
