While the camera stores the date (and a lot more) with every picture, it will not deface your pictures by scribbling a string of numbers across them. Any photo editing/cataloging program should show you this information. Depending on the program and printer, you can print this information on the image, in the margins, or on the back. For example, if you're printing directly from the camera you can turn on DATE under CUSTOM PRINT.

Do the Olympus Stylus 600 includes a Date Stamp on the pictures taken??? Regards.

The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in what's called the EXIF file. Any photo editing/viewing program should be able to show you this data. If you want to print this information, please refer to the documentation for whatever program(s) you're using to print. Depending on the program and printer, you can print the date and time on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

If you require further assistance, please reply to this post and specify the program(s) you're using.

How do you get the time/date on pictures

The date and time (and a lot more) are recorded with every picture. Just about all photo viewing/editing programs will show you this data. Depending on the program and printer, you may print the date and/or time on the image, in the margins, or on the back. Refer to the documentation for whatever program you're using to view/print.

Date time stamp for olympus c-5000. How to turn

I had the same problem. I wanted to set my Olympus C5000 Zoom to automatically date stamp photos. After going through the entire manual, I had to call Olympus directly. They told me that none of their cameras have an internal date stamp feature. They said that the date stamp lowers the quality of the picture, so they choose not to have the feature available. However, you can manually add the date and time stamp through the software that comes with the camera, just before you print the pictures. Hope that helps...
if you need help with that manual go to http://www.olympus.co.jp/en/support/imsg/digicamera/download/manual/ and get our off the list.
It is on there!!! about the middle of the page.

Time & Date Stamp

The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every image. Any photo printing program should have an option for printing the date and time on the picture (or in the margin or even on the back if the printer is two-sided).

Suppressing printing of date/time

No, the date/time stamp is now part of the image. The only way to get rid of it is to Photoshop it, but 250 photos... Let me look at my manual, as mine never prints the date/time.
