One of the most common failures is the actual AC inlet. Have you tried using batteries? If the batteries work, I would guess that either the AC inlet has broken or that one of the connections to the transformer has broken. Either repair is not particulalry expensive. Getting at these parts can be a bit tricky though. Try running on batteries and update this with the results.

Thanks,
Dan

Cant run video plug-in not responding

Video Plug-IN? Are you saying there is no display on the lcd screen?

Shine a flashlight on the dark screen to see if you barelysee the icons on the desktop. If so, then the LCD Inverter is bad.

Plug in an external monitor and see if the display shows up on it. It can beany kind of monitor even the old big fat crt monitors as long as it has a vgacable to connect to your computer's vga port. If so that proves yourvideo card is ok. The video will show on most systems when you rebootwithout you having to do anything. Some systems will require you to hit the FN(Function key) + F1 thru F12. Hold down the FN key then hit the correctkey for displaying on the monitor (F1 thru F12). The correct key willnormally have CRT/LCD on it or it will have the icon of a display.

If you see no icons by shinning a flash light and the external monitor works, then your screen is bad. If you see no icons by shinning the flash lightand nothing shows on the external monitor, then most likely your video card isbad.

I am Using ACER AL 1706 A Model Monitor. Since two days i am facing problem with my LCD Monitor. The Problem is: My Monitor is Blinking(Flashing), I dont have an idea to repair my monitor. Please tell me...

This type of problems are commonly seen with the monitors and this generally happens due to a faulty display cable (vga Cable) or the connecting port or monitor driver (driver 10% only). Cable should not be tensed it should be comfortably plugged in. please connect both power and display cable properly. Also try replacing the cable at shop. just go on shop and check with a new cable. if this fixes the problem then get a new cable. otherwise this could be problem with internal display cable or something else internally wrong, which requires a technician.

Hp pavillion dv2000 dont turn up

First thing to do is try to see if your external output will work. If you have an extra monitor around, plug it into the VGA port on the side. You can press the Fn button and the button for LCD (usually F7 orF8) to toggle between the LCD display and the VGA or both. Let me know if you can get the VGA to work

WONT TURN ON

Most likely, the problem is a defective Main Processor Board. This is the board with the antenna, RCA and HDMI plugs. You cant repair or replace component parts on this board, so dont even try. You must replace the complete board. The TV says Sylvania, but it is a bloody Funia TV. Several years ago this foreign company bought out broke-azzz Sylvania . They are still carrying the Sylvania name since Sylvania was a popular TV name in the 70s. Every electronic company in the USA is now owned by the Chinese, so call Funai and order the part from them. Dont be surprise if they dont have a clue what the heck you asking for. America and all electronics have gone to the puddles. Do you know why? GREED.

I have a Acer Aspire 3000 notebook computer that I want to hook up to a 19" external monitor (Septre LCD Model DCL9C) I thoughout that after plugging it in to the rear monitor port adn power source...

According to the Aspire 3000 User Guide, you should be able to use Fn and F5 (not F6) to toggle the display selection. Try that first. If that doesn't resolve the problem...

Your laptop probably has the SiS Mirage 2 graphics processor. It's max resolution is 1024 x 768. The Sceptre DCL9C will likely default at 1280 x 1240. Try backing the resolution (in Control Panel) down to 1024 x 768 - for the external monitor. Also, hit the AUTO button on the monitor. It might reset itself to be compatible with the SiS video. Lastly, download the latest drivers for your OS and the SiS Mirage 2 video adapter.

I hope this helps! Please post rating, if it does.
