We recently implemented MC55A wireless handheld barcode scanners in our warehouse. We are have a few issues. 1. We did an full inventory count using the devices on Saturday and found that a large percentage of records were no communicated. I got feed back from the users and when they would take a break, the scanner would go in sleep mode. Is it possibile that this may have interfered with the transmission to the server? 2. We using also found that there are issues with the scanner when scanning a few serialized products. The barcode we print contain 2 barcodes (1for the product and 1 for the serial number). The scanner will read both barcodes on all other equipment but not for this particular barcode. It will only ready the top barcode for the product, not the serial number. We even printed a brand new barcode label but it does the same thing. Any ideas? This particular barcode has a length of 14 alpha numeric.
