After pairing with my mobile (Nokia N73) I am able the listen to music only for 10 sec

Hi,
I paired my BT8010 with my nokia N73. Pairing went through fine. I am able to take calls without any problems. The problem is with the music streaming. Within 10 sec of pressing the play button, the music goes off. The player still shows that the music is playing, the BT headset is not producing any sound. I have upgraded the firmware to 1-40 and the problem still persists.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Thanks for that.. You were right! I tried with another N73 and it worked fine.
Now my question would be, would you be knowing what could be the problem/lack of settings that my N73 could have?

Try pairing your device to another mobile and try listening music with it.If it works, either the settings on you Nokia N73 need to be changed, either is not fully compatible with the phone. As a last resort you can reset to default the settings on your mobile.Upgrading the firmware I do not recommand doing it, even from an official site, cause it can turn be very unstable.

I have a nokia 2730. but the bluetooth is not working properly. whenever i tried it shows "sending failed" to any other mobile.

Hi,for the blue tooth to work, first you will have to pair the device you want to use with it. Without pairing the device it will work.

When you want to connect a blue tooth to a phone, You will need to switch on the blue tooth device and the phones blue tooth you are pairing with.

When pairing both device, you will ask for pairing code, You four digit numbers(default code(0000). and pair.

After pairing both device, you detected paired, you can now use the blue tooth device with your phone.

there are no special code for pairing Blue tooth device.
Normal codes used are any four digit, four numbers you want to use.(0000, 1234).

Take care.

hello thats a silly problem . when you are searching from your mobile the headset must be in pairing mode , instead of just switching on your headset just hold its on button for 10 to 15 sec then the headset will get into pairing mode . and then you can see it on your phone , the default password is 0000 . if u have a manual for your headset it will be a lot clear . just follow those you will get it done.

Trouble after installing firmware

I had the same problem before I even upgraded the firmware, it showed up after I selected "delete all" in the paired devices menu. I upgraded my firmware to try to the problem but it didn't help but I did come up with a fix thats worked twice for me. so heres the fix i use  1. delete the pairing on your mobile phone.  2. switch on the headset then hold the on switch in the pairing position for about 7 sec. which should put it in pairing mode.  3. do a search with your mobile phone for a new device and it should show your headset 4. pair with it like normal
after pairing my headset's display always comes back on and then operates like normal  hope that helps
