I have a casio dj-120 and want to set the tax rate how do i do this

To set a Tax Percent rate, first, turn the calculator OFF and then turn it ON.

Press and hold the [%]key.

go to PGM 3 then go to
1- Machine Feature
go to
9-Tax Table
go to
1- tax table 1
set tax rate to 5.0000
set Rounding to Round up
set singapore Rounding to Round up if you are not using the 1 cent anymore
set calculation Type to Table and Add on

Press ESC to go back to Tax Table window and choose
2- Tax Table 2
repeat the same steps as for Tax Table 1 but set the tax rate to 9.98

I have a j-120 Casio, and the following worked on that:

Press and hold the 'rate set%' button (next to "Tax-" button).

The currently held rate will display.

Type in 17.5, then hold down the 'rate set' button again.

Voila!

1. Press the "AC" button.

2. Punch in the tax rate you want. (ex: For 17.5% vat type 17.5)

3. Press the "RATE" button. (RATE flashes in the display.)

4. Press "TAX+"

That's it.

SETTING YOUR TAX RATE
you hold your set % button down for three seconds until set shows again, then hit tax rate button it shows your tax rate, change your tax rate then hit set your tax rate should be set.

I found it by myself, I can help you.
1. Press (AC)
2. Hold (Rate) for about 2-3 second
3. Press (Set / TAX+)
4. Input the tax rate
5. Press (Set / TAX+)
6. Hold (Rate) for about 2-3 second again
7. Press (Set / TAX+) again
And Then you can test the rate .

From Thailand

Press AC

Type the tax rate you want. For 17.5% vat type 17.5

Press RATE. RATE flashes in the display.

Press TAX+

Found this on the casio site worked fine on my ms-120TE
1. Press [AC]
2. Hold [SET/%] key for about 2 seconds until set and a 0 is displayed
3. Press [TAX+]
4. Input the tax rate
5. Press [SET/%]

1. Switch off the calculator
2. Switch it on again
3. Press and hold the tax button (set %) until the display changes
4. Enter the new tax rate
5. Press the tax button (tax +)
