The fridge & freezer has started to get warm it was 8deg above the recomended temperature & then the light starts to flash,we have cleaned all around it,taken food away from the outlets in the fridge & cleaned around the freezer exsteria, we have also put the freezer onto fastfreeze for the last 12hours,this has bought the temperature down on both but it wont maintain the lower temp for long,fridge +5 freezer -15 but this jumps about. It can be a defective thermistor,a defective cold control or compressors short cycling(not running long enough) or the evaporatorin the freezer is frozen up and cant keep temps constant

The high temperature alarm or the red light indicator came on because the internal temp is high. This means that the temperature inside your appliance is still too warm. cleaned it and door was open for a while. closed door and and an hour later alarm went off. alarm now flashing and alarm light still on. temperature now at 53. freezer 33
If the cabinet is warm inside it is a failed circulation fan, failed defrost causing the evaporator to freeze up, or it needs a refrigerant gas top up.
Beeping is just an alarm. It may be because of the more serious issues listed above but can also be caused by a failing door gasket, the door being left ajar (kids are famous for this) or the door has been left open too long deciding what to have for dinner.
i have just fixed my fridge freezer by following the instruction from KarenBa and GWoman i have also managed to stop the lights (super cool and super freeze) from flashing by turning the temperature to zero on both fridge and freezer so they turn off then holding both super buttons down for about 15 seconds then turning the temperature back up. hope this helps
