A resistor is bad......check all resistors with a meter and replace faulty one!

Set-up (Programming) procedure is too much to type in here, and is not practical and it will differ brand-to-brand remote controls. If you wish to get more; check the sites linked here. It has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. One among it has general set-up codes to check with TVs and other devices are given, in the order of the 'device's brand name list' in alphabetical order. Pull up older posts. Search the sites by type in the brand name to your device in its search box at the top right part of the display window. It will help you to find the document easily.

Search the site by type in the brand name of your device, in the "Search box at the top right of the Home page display" to see the set-up codes to your device, with different brand remote controls.

Those sounds would be either your power converter/supply inside the TC or/and faulty cabling inside that has been worn out resulting in noises and flickering.

I have the exact same problem. After a week, I lost all reception on the 10733 H 22000 transponder and (from memory) 10823 which means no BBC1, BBC2 or CBEEBIES which are a must in my house. I have used another set-top box and received those channels without a problem, so it would seem that the Tevion decoder is at fault and needs returning to ALDI

Tevion is mainly sold in Aldi, but your set could be made by Schnieder.

Aldi customer support has always been very good, they may offer you a link to download a manual.

After googling for a while, i could find no documents that relate to your model.

i had a similar problem, with another tevion model, earlier this year. i was able to resolve it by getting in touch with Pebble Electronics, (they handle the tevions). you might start by emailing your details to [email protected].

Check out eBay to see if someone has a remote for sale. This is not a name brand TV set, and therefore there is probably no support for service and parts.

If you decide to change TV sets, stay with the big name brands, and check them out for after sales support and service.
