Just bought JVC Enverio GZ MG330 hybrid. Want to get it to work with Windows Movie Maker, but it won't. The bundled software Cyberlink photo navigator Ver 1.5 and Power producer 3NE are working but don't recognize my DVD burner on my Dell inspiron 6000. Help please.
Charcois, I have installed the CD driver software that came with the camcorder. But, that software doesn't recognize my DVD burner. And, my DVD burner can't 'read' the video file the way the software saved it. The manual says files are saved as mjpeg2 and windows movie maker should be able to read tihis as well as my DVD burner (Roxio) BUT, it isn't working.
Other ideas?

Tvskur, would you be kind enough to upload your software cd. I have lost mine, and now i can't not install it on a new computer. I know that any dvd burner software would work but my parents only know how to use the 1 click DVD feature! Thanks a lot.
Try to install the cd driver camed with your camcorder. insert the usb from your camcorder to your pc. use Ulead movie maker instead of Windows movie maker.

The bundled software is the Everio Media Browser by Pixela. It makes it very easy to find video on your camcorder and import it to your computer. Then, it allows you to do basic editing. Finally, the software makes it simple to upload to You Tube, Export to iTunes, or Burn to DVD. You can purchase a replacement at: http://www.jvcservice.com/Store. I however recommend you just use Windows Movie Maker, which is free.
Hey! I recommend you use this DVD Converter studio, by wich you can convert your jvc enverio videos into movies so that you can watch them on your dvd player. Hope that helps.
please go to the following website to get the software which in turn converts your .mod files to .wma(windows media player) file. and then your movie maker will be able to recognize those files. www.wma-mp3.net/download/wmamp3_converter.exe
Another solution is to make sure you are using the usb cable that came with the camera. For some reason, if I use any other, the computer won't recognize the camera. It's the one with the magnet. In fact, mine has two magnets on it.
