Can I transfer pics from my LG cell phone to my laptop via USB cord?

Go to your LG's menu, and select "Connectivity" (I'm assuming here that LG uses a uniform menu across several phones).

Select "USB Connection"

Select "Mass Storage"

Now simply connect your LG to your PC via a USB cable, and both your phone memory and memory card will be recognized by your PC as removable drives. Browse through to copy, cut and paste your files.

Was there software to install provided with your LG? If you have installed the software and connect your phone to your computer via a compatible USB cord, the computer should recognize your phone as an additional harddrive. Then you can search your phone to transfer your pictures. Also, if you have a micro SD card in your phone, you could remove it to transfer the pictures that way as well as long as you have your phone setup to save your pictures to the SD card.

1. You can use your USB cable to connect from your phone to a computer. (YOu can use either MASS STORAGE or PC SUITE)
2. You can transfer via Bluetooth. (Your laptop must have a Bluetooth port also. If not, attach a Bluetooth Dongle to it.)
3. You can remove your memory card from your phone and insert it in a Card reader. Then, insert it in the computer.

One way to do it is if you have a laptop with bluetooth. You can pair your phone with your laptop and transfer files that way.

on your lg cookie go to menu> settings> connectivity> USB connection mode> choose "mass storage"

now when you connect your phone to pc via usb, the phone will act as a mass storage

off the phone and on it then put the usb cord on the phone screen choose mass storage then it will transfer

on an LG KS360:

Go to the "settings" menu on your phone. Select Connectivity. Then USB Connection. Then make sure that the "mass storage" option is selected.
You can then connect your phone to your PC via USB. Presuming you're using Windows, right-click your start bar, and click on "explore". You should see one or two extra drives depending on if you have an SD card stored on your phone. One of these drives will be the internal memory, the other the SD. You can navigate the menus to find the pictures. Either drag and drop them to where you want to put them on your PC, or copy and paste.

Alternatively, you can use a bluetooth connection. If your PC has one, make sure it is enabled, and make sure your phone's bluetooth is enabled [via the connectivity menu]. Set your PC's bluetooth to receive a file, and then find the picture you want to send on the phone, go to the options menu, select "send via" and choose bluetooth. You will have to select your PC's name from the menu after that, and you should see on your PC screen that it is receiving a file.

Sometimes the usb cord is more of a pain than its worth. This phone has a micro sd card holder. If you buy the mirco SD card you can move the pics from the phone to the card, pop the card out put it in a card reader and Voila! your pictures are now on a card you can easily transfer them or take em to a store and print them.

you can either do it via a usb cord if your phone is capable of that or you will need to send the pics via text message to your email address on your computer.

Since no one has answered this yet and I found a solution, I minus well help the people out there. This is how I do it:
1) go to menu
2) go to tools
3) go to USB Mass Storage
This will allow your computer to recognize your phone/card and will open it. I highly recommend transferring all your photos and video to your card instead of your phone memory. This is how you transfer it from your phone to your card:
1) go to menu
2) go to settings
3) go to memory
from here you can gain access to what is on your phone memory and your card memory. From this you can edit where you want to save your pics/videos/sounds to (either phone or card memory) and transfer your media files from your phone to your card or vise versa.
