I have a viper model 791xv. I used one remote last night and it worked fine. Now neither remote/responder work. The red light still comes on when pressed but nothing happens. The other remote beeps indicating no command signal from the car and the doors don't open. What is wrong and what can I do?

the manual should explain how to exit timer mode.

Sounds like the tach connection has been loosened or slipped out of position. Here is a link for installation manuals, Will help in location and inspection of tach wire.

I have the same remote and it comes disconnected in the battery section from the battery hitting it and then the commands and speaker stop working
as shown here
