My casio ex-zr100 camera is new out of the box. I put an Eye-Fi 8GB explore/X2 memory card in and received a Card Error message. Any advice?

Your camera is certainly compatible with SDHC cards and even with the next SDXC cards which will soon be available, so that's not the problem.

You either have a faulty camera or a faulty SDHC card, and as the latter is a generic no-name brand I'd suspect that before the camera.

Try the card out in other SDHC compliant devices, and also see whether you can borrow other SDHC cards to try in your camera to isolate where the fault lies.

Whichever item is faulty cannot be repaired by you anyway, so return the offending item for a refund or exchange. If the card is faulty, then I'd strongly suggest just getting a refund and replacing it with a good quality brand as they will guarantee the performance of their products and give full after-sales support.

How to connect coolpix s6300 to ipad via wifi

Your camera does not have a build in WiFi transmitter. You could use a Eye-Fi or Transcend WiFi memory card for connecting it wireless to the iPad, iPhone (or Android device). I'm using a 16 Gbyte Class 10 Transcend WiFi card in my Nikon and it works great on both my iPhone 4 and iPad 4 gen. I think now the 16 GB will cost about 40 dollars, because they now also have a 32 Gbyte WiFi card.
Both Transcend and EyeFi have free apps on the Apple and Android App store.
When you put an WiFi card in your camera, enable the use of the card as described on page 84 of the manual. You only have to install the free app and read the manual, but I'm convinced you have the connection up and running in no time.

The Transcend card is about half the price, has twice the memory card speed and twice the capacity of the Eye-Fi card. And it also transfers RAW pictures (You can't view them on the iPad, but you could transmit them to your PC, using the network) Only the X2 SDHC 8GB of Eye-Fi can transfer RAW.

Card error

Try turning off the camera. While it's off remove and reinsert the memory card. If the same message appears, you should re-format the memory card. CAUTION: Formatting the memory card will delete anything on it. Copy the files off of it before formatting.

I bought a 8gb sd card for my 6.0 megapixel cannon digital camera and when I put it in it says NO MEMORY CARD OR MEMORY CARD LOCKED or MEMORY CARD ERROR.If this doesnt work, I want my money back. I dont...

The message you are receiving seems to indicate that you need to FORMAT the card for it to be recognised by your camera. Your camera manual will provide instructions for you to do that. Hope this solves your problem.

Card Error

try going to wolf camera or ritz camera they have a 512 meg chip for about 8 bucks put it in your camera and see if you can format it and take pictures. I have seen in the past that the 2 gig chips are frauds they are smaller chips formatted to a 2 gig compositor. They have been going around quite abit. if that does not work then the camera has a defective sd port and should be able to be replaced from where you got it. if they will not repair it then call casio you can find their number at www.casio.com/us then under contact us. Casio should fix it if you bought it from a retail store send them your receipt. That what they ask for to see when the warranty started. Hope this helps.

Card error

Casio only recommends Sandisk, Toshiba and Panasonic for memory cards. More than likely you have a card that is bad. Purchase a new card and make sure you format it with your camera before you try and use it.
