I-40 camera will not go to picture mode and start taking pictures

Have you done the time/date setup? Online manual says it goes auto after 4 minutes, but perhaps the date/time need to be setup first? Online manual here in case you lost your book :)

contact Moultrie at www.moultriefeeders.com by email,they never seem to answer the phone, tell them your problem with displays and they will send replacements free of charge;free shipping, and include instuctions on how to replace...I have replaced 15 of these at about 15minutes each.

Does the aim work? LCD menu display mak be bad...turn cam to aim, red laser should come on, move switch all the way to left and watch for any flash of black dots/lines...try replacing display, available by emailing (don't call) www.moultriefeeders.com. They have been replacing these displays free of charge, free shipping with instructions...not hard to replace.
