If the Hard drive LED is active and it appears that the computer is going through the boot up process then your screen if faulty, probably due to a faulty backlight controller. Try shining a small torch near the screen and see if you can make out any details on the screen. If so then the backlight needs to be repaired.
Check to see if you have inadvertently hit the CRT button which turns off your screen to turn on an externally connected screen even if there is no external screen plugged in. OR you could have a bad (Back-light) or (Inverter)
That is usually a sign that the backlight on your W810 LCD screen has gone bad. Don't fret. It is an easy repair to do yourself and will cost you about 20 dollars.
